Fitzgerald returned yester day from a business trip to Riohland, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hawkins returned Wednesday evening from a flying trip to Atlanta. Mr. John Cobb, Jr., returned to-day to Americvs, after a short absence from the city. Mrs. Viols Dellinghsm and her mother, Mrs. M. J. Bosworth are visiting at the residence of Mr. P. D. Hill, on Forsyth street. Miss Ellen Hardin, an attractive young lady of Columbus, who has been the guest of Miss Fannie Campbell for the past week, returned to her home yester day. Miss Hardin made many friends during her stay in the city. Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Vernon were in the city yesterday. Mr. Vernon is the busi ness manager of tbe star, “Jarbean,” who will appear in Amerlous next Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon have a unique attache that accompanies them in their travels, an English blood blue tan dog, weighing one pound and three ounces. The little pet is two years old and fully grown. Money could not buy him from his owners. Mr. John M. Cranston of Augusta, familiarly known in Amerlous as hand some Jaok Cranston, dropped in una- wares upon hla many friends yesterday.
