Fitzsimmons Knocks Him Silly In the

Much Interest was manifested In
sporting oiroles here over the Creedon-

peoplo witnessed tho "mill.”
Fitzsimmons entered mt 166 pounds

as referee.
In tho first round Crrcdon lod: Fitz
dodged; Creedon punched Fitz in the
stomach and sprang lightly asido. Fitz
then lauded his left on Creodon’s chin,
when they clinched, Creedon smashed
Fitz on ribs with a right swing, wliilo
the blacksmith pummels him right and
left on tbo neck.
In tbe second round Creedon missed.
Fitz rushed and jabbel him a corker in
the eye, followed by a blow on Creo
don’s stomach and one on tho neck,
knocking him down. Creedon rises,
but is knocked out by a swinging tight
hand blow on tho neck. He failed to
rise, and Itefereo Duffy gave tho fight to
Fitzsimmons.
Duffy then announced that ltichard

but later the esse was dismissed at the
request of all parties concerned.

and to bo the poor man’s friend. I
presented one third party man his ac

to scorn, saying "I never intended to
pay you when I bought the goods.’’
Tho man is one I. P. Hart. I gave him
his bill and warn the public to stay clear
of him.
