SUPPRESSING ANARCHY.
Every good citizen wants the spirit
of anarchy suppressed in this country.
But in this desire we notice a good
many, we think,go entirely too far. They
go to the extent of desiring to see the
press throttled and free speech threat
ened. This would never do, and in the
end would pro r e rninous to the liber
ties of the masses. Anarchy cannot be
surpassed by the suppression of free
speech. The rigid enforcement of jus*,
but rigorous laws, aud the inculcation
of patriotic ideas are the safest, surest,
aud in fact, the only means of suppress
ing anarchy. The lighting of lawless
ness with fanaticism only brutalizes
those who seek to accomplish good.
In his annual report State Treasurer
Park throws this bouquet to the farm
ers: “It it proper to say that a great
majority of the new bank depositors are
to be found among the farmers. Our
hard-pressed and industrious farmers
have for the past decade and longer
practiced economy in the most heroio
way, and they have improved in their
methods more rapidly and substantial
ly than any other clasp. The crown
ing and indisputable proof of this is
shown in their wonderfully increased
bank deposits. It is a splendid tribute
to their sterling qualities. The farm
er’s progress in getting wealth has been
hastened by the growth of our cities,
and the increase in manufacturing.
The farmers will soon become the bul
wark of the banks.”—Albany Herald.

Dyspepsia Cure
A powerful engine can’t be run with a weak boiler; and you
can’t expect to keep up the wear and strain of an active life with
a weak stomach. Our boilers, or rather our stomachs, can’t be
replaced, and we cannot stop the human machinery while mak
ing repairs. But when the stomach is unable to digest enough
food to keep the body strong, we can use such a preparation as
Kodol Dyspepsia Cure. It digests what you eat, so that you can
eat all the good food you want, without any distress after eating.
“After forty years of suffering from Indigestion, a few bottles of Kodol Dys

Rock Hill Buggy Co„
Rock Hill, S. C.
Dear Sirs;
I beg to state that your “Dong-Winded” axle Is a
perfect success, having the advantage over any other long dis
tance axle that 1 have ever seen, In that the oil cannot run « ut
on the ground, but must be used up on the spindle; and as the
sand cannot get on the spindle to grind It out 1 am sure that
buggies with this axle will not have to have new points put on
the axles, no matter how long the buggy lasts, The farmers an
preclate this advantage, hence “Rock Hills” are easy to sell.
Yours truly,
W. B. RODDFNBERY.
“Cannot run out on the ground. ” That’s the whole secret told in six words
J3nt it must be need up on the spindle ” Os coarse, if it “caunot run out on
the ground it must be used upon the spindle,” and tnat is the reason we’ve the
dodge on all the balance of them. e
And it don’t cost any more than the ordinary axle, but u ill run twice as
long as any of them.
, “ rh L e J farmers appreciate this advantage. ” Anybody that don't want to be
bothered to death oiling a buggy every few days will appreciate a thing that
don t cost a cent and so simple a child can understand it. Has run 2035 miles
with one oiling.
