Locals Put Up a Stiff Fight and Hon

the home team and the good playing
of the visitors.
And while the game resalted in a tie
of 3 to 3 in the ninth inniner, local fans
were delighted and yelled themseves
wellnigh into a frenzy of eostaoy at the
excellent work thns done,
Colnmbas pat ap a splendid game

The grounds had dried out and were
in excellent condition, while the play

shifting about.
Americas pat ap Richardson and

The game this afternoon will end the

Americas strengthened her team
very considerably yesterday, and fine
work may be expeoted. Sam Marshall
of Birmingham was wired for and was
expected here last night. He will
pitoh the game this afternoor, with
Stephens behind the bat as usuaj.
Colnmbas will probably pat ap

The splendid work of Richardson

How to Hest.
To understand how to rost is of more
Importance than to know how to work.
The latter can bo learned easily. The
former it takes years to learn, and some
people never learn the art of resting.
It is simply a change of scenes and ac
tivities. Loafing may not be resting;
sleeping is not always resting; sitting
down for days, with nothing to do, is
not restful. A change is needed to
bring Into play a different set of facul
ties and to turn the life into a new
channel. The man who works hard
finds his best rest in playing hard; the
man who is burdened with care finds
relief in something that is active, yet
free from responsibility. Above all,
keep good natured and don’t abuse
your best friend, the stomach.
Kidney complaint kills more people
than any other disease. This is due to
the disease being so Insidious that it
gets a good hold on the system before
it is recognized. Foley’s Kidney Cure
