A Great Stride In Values
Made
THE HIGHEST POINT IN WEEKS
Touched Yesterday When May Soar
ed to II 35 —Bull Leaders Say End
Not Yet and Holders of the Stapie
Are Feeling Better.
Just as Theodoruq king, said it
would, ibe cotton market did the camel
hump act yesterday and is etill hump
ing in a manner calculated to make the
bear contingent take to the woods in
alarm. For the King bath said P, and
what be says goes*.
And away up in the piotnres the fu
tures market sailed yesterday.
May onion went as high as 11.35,
with July close behind at 11 19. Oc
tober, the fall month of greatest inter
est, advanced lapdly wi h the others,
B‘andiug at 10.73 yesterday at the
olose.
This is the highest level reached by
the cotton maiket in a long while and
is said to bj due to the heavy demand
for spjfp, acd also to unfavorable new
crop reports. The demand for old oot
tob among exporttrs it quite heavy at
present.
The advance in May cattou yesterday
was about fifteen points.
This sudden rise in valnei is of in
terest not only to farmers now planting
or cultivating the next crop, but to
spot holders as well, In Americus
alone more than 2/CO bales cotton are
still held, and the owtets of tfuse
bales are mu.-h interested.
Amerious cotton men look for still
further advance of twenty or tb.rly
points. Th-re were no rales here on
yesterday’o rise.
DISCRIMINATING LADIEB.
Enjoy lifting Herpicide on Account of
Its Distinctiveness.
The ladies who have used Newbro’a
Herpicide speak of it in the highest
terms, for its quick effect in cleansing
the scalp of dandruff and also for its ex
cellence as a general hair-dressing. It
makes the scalp feel fresh and it allays
that itching which dandruff will cause.
Newbro’s Herpicide effectively cures
dandruff, as it destroys the germ that
causes it. The same germ causes hair to
fall out, and later baldness; in killing It,
Herpicide stops' falling hair and prevents
baldness. It is also an ideal hair dress
ing, for it lends an aristocratic charm to
the hair that is quite distinctive. Sold
by leading druggists. Send 10c. in stamps
for sample to The Herpicide Co., De
