NO PERSON
Would Make Such a Proposition to
the People of Americus Unless
They Were Absolutely Sure
Did you ever know or hear cf a per

build up health and create strength and
vitality |for old people, weak, sickly
women and children aud the couvaler

troubles, make those who are thin, fat

This is exactly the offer our well
known and reliable druggist, J. G. Dod
son, makes to every person in Americas.
Mr Dodson says, “Our offer is based
upon what we believe to be the greatest
strength-crea’or and health-restorer
known to medicine. Vinol, which is the
up to date form cf administering cod
liver oil, reoognized for centuries as the
grandest of all body building agents
for w°sted human strength aid vitality.
In Vinoi we have simply done away
with the useless system-clogging oil,
and given the people all the medicinal
curative elements of cod liver oil ac
tually taken from freeh cods’ livers
and we have never sold in our a
medicine of more intrinsic value.
As a body builder and sttentgh-cre
ator for old people, weak women, puny
children, after sickness and for all
pulmonary diseases, its fime has spread
so far that it ia now guaranteed by over
two thousand of the Hading druggists
of the country, and especially by us.”

us, and I decided to be that one and

THE TIDE IS GOIN6
TOTDRNIN TIME
Americus, If Defeattd, Still
Hopeful.
VICTORY AT WINDUP CERTAIN
Her Team is not What She Would
Have it, But in Time Amerlcus is
Going in to Win—Let Everybody
Whoop Instead of Knock
Slightly disfigured but still in the
ring, and to stav, is the size of it from
the Americas standpoint, and while
onr banner is trailing in the dust jast
at present the time will come ere long
when it will fi >jt proudly over every
ball field in the state league.
We are going to correct mistakes
strengthen the team wherever required
and when all is ready Americas will not
only retrieve .her recent misfortunes
bat win laurels in victorious ball.
The tide is going to turn our way,
and quickly. It may turn today.
Americus has lost four games, it is
true, but there are many others Btill
to be played. And she is going to win
a full share of them.
Yesterday’s defeat was about the
worst yet sustained, Wayoroes wallop
ing Americas to the tune of 11 to 0,
but we will do better today. Oar club
sees its weak points, and as far as
possible will oorreot them.
Manager Powell is doing his utmost
to strengthen the Americas team, and
will yet make it invincible. He is
willing to spend money in the em
ployment of the best ball talent, and
will get it.
Let everybody cheer on; keep your
courage up—and don’t knock.
I nforlunately for Americas, her
team has had to go up against the two
strongest in the league and right at
the start. And the defeats sustained,
while disoouraging, will not deter
Americas from striving harder than
e-vcr to redeem herself.
There will be some new material in
the team today. And things may be
gin to go our way now.
Over 300 people eaw yesterday’s
game in which Wayoross walked cff
with the whole pie. Waycross has a
fine team and plays ball in a whirl.
Americas pat up McKnight and Ste
phens, bat weak points elsewhere soon
put her to the bad.
