The excursion, to Amerions yesterday
of the employes of the Central Railway
at Maoon, with hundreds of their
friends, was by far the most successful
of the many coming here from that city.
Fully 1,500 happy excursionists filled
the handsome train of fourteen caaches,
eyen the p atforms being crowded at
the train arrived here at 10 o’clock.
The excursionists brought an excellent
band and dancing wat the feature of
the day, though other sports were in
dulged in as well. The occasion was
eDjoyed to the fullest, the party return
ing home st 6 o’clock.**"
