Bow to Break Up a Cold
It may be asurpriso to many to learn
that a severe cold can be completely
broken up in one or two days’ time. To
do this,however,prompt action is neces
sary. The first syroptons of a cold are
a dry, loud cough, a profuse watery
discharge from the nose, and a thiD,
white coating 1 n the tongue. When
Chamberlain's cough reme y is taken
every hour on the first appearance of
these Symplons, it counteracts ihe effect
of the cold and restores the syst* m to
a healty condition witr.in a day or two.

Deafness Cannot be Curea
by local applications, as they cannot
reach the diseased portion of the ear.
There is only one way to cure deafness,
and that is by constitutional remedies,
Deafness is caused by inflamed condi

you have a rumbling sound of imperfect
hearing, and when it is entirely clo.sed,
Deafness is the result, and unless the

hearing will he distroyed forever; nine
cases out of ten are caused by '’atarrb,
