Ever Made.
TRENTON, X. J-., Oct. L. (Special)
—lt begins to look as if the guber
natorial campaign now waging would
fre fought out along the lines of the
‘"Sunday Saloon,” with the Demo
crats as advocates for such an inno
vation in spite of the persistent si
lenee of the party's candidate for gov
ernr >r, Frank S. Katzenbach, Jr., who
as- , Sunday school superintendent
am jn active church worker it was
bought would hardly stand for the
"Sunday saloon.’’
However, recent developments
jjsve given the situation an entirely
different aspect. One of the straws
wined shows which way the wind is
bio ing is the “flopping” of all Ger
afcir. newspapers and organizations
from the Republican to the Demo
cratic ranks.
One of the latest recruits to the
ranks of the Katzenbach forces is
Cuionel E. C. Stahl, of this city, a Re
publican office holder. Col. Stahl is
fdie editor and publisher of the
"Staats Journal,” and he has thrown

ocratic nominee. Otto Erdliiig's
“Deutche Zeitung,” also of Trenton,
will take the same stand in its next
issue. The ‘‘Freie Zeitung," of New
ark,, a foremost daily of the state,
has already forsaken Fort and the
Republican forces.
All this is indicative that the Dem
ocrats are pleged for “open Sunday”
in spite of the silence of their plat
form and the refusal of Katzenbach
to commit himself in speeches or in
terviews. The result will be a decis
ive line-up between the Church and
temperance people on one side and
the advocates of Sabbath desecration
on the other.
Conservative observers believe that
not only will the Republicans elect
the Governor, but will regain con
trol of the House of Assembly. The
Senate is assuredly Republican, by
reason of hold-over members, even if
everything went Democratic.
THE REAL TEST
Os Herpicide l» in Giving It a Thor,
ongli Trial.
There is only one test by which to
judge of the efficiency of any article
and that is by its ability to do that
which it is intended to do. Many hair
vigors may look nice and smeil nice,
but the point is—do they eradicate Dan
druff and stop falling hair?
No. they do not, but Herpicide does,
because it goes to the root of the evil
and kills the germ that attacks the
papilla from whence the hair gets its
life.
Letters from prominent people every
where are daily proving that Newbro’s
Herpicide stands the ‘‘test of use.”
It is a delightful dressing, clear, pure
and free from oil or grease.
