State Cotton Seed Crushers’ Asso
ciation and President M. S. Harper,
of the Georgia Cotton Seel Crushers’
Association, have named committees
from these two organizations to
meet with similar committees from
the Southern Cotton Association and
the Farmers’ Union at the Internat
ional Cotton Spinners’ Convention to
be held in Atlanta next week.
President Ransom has named Pres
ident M. S. Harper, of the Georgia
Cotton Seed Crushers Association, J.
A. Aycock, of Carrollton, J. L. Ben
ton, of Monticello, E. P. Me Burney of
Atlanta, and C'. Doubhit, of Atlanta.

ed by Thomas Egleston, of Atlanta,
at the recent meeting of the State as
sociation at Atlantic Beach, Fla.,
calling for a conference among the

TOWER IS GIVEN ONE
MORE GOOD WASHING
The water tower, from which the
city's supply of fluid is distributed,
was given a good scrubbing yesterday
the second one of the year, and an
improvement in health conditions
will doubtless be noted. All the wa
ter was drained off and the big cup,
holding 155,000 gallons given a good
washing.

garten Association will conduct their
first “rummage sale” today at the
vacant store formerly ocupied by the
Allison Company. Many contribu
tions have been given the ladies, and
the sale will form a source of pleas
urable interest as well as of profit.
