A Question of Grave Doubt
(If You Do Not Care What Kind of
Clothes You Buy, Read no Further.)
W 00l is high and clothes are dear —yet you
are offered suits at $15.00, say. Now, it may per
haps be done, but it is a question of grave doubt
if clothes worthy of a man’s wear can be made
and put on the market at a profit for that price.
Our clothes for you to see and try on are
STEIN-BLOCH make and the lowest price we
charge is $22.50. Yet the difference in fit, in
style, in workmanship, and in durability, is far
more to you than $7.50.
Will you examine and try on ?

“TRIFLE NOT WITH EIRE”
AT THE SAVOV TODAY
A beautiful love story, bright and
clearly told in pictures, as only The
Savoy can. It's a story of a college
girl’s love for a half-breed, which he
in time awakens to the fact, of what
such a thing would lead to. The half
breed leaves and denounces civiliza
tion. Two years later Ruth receives
a letter from her chum, asking her to
visit the West. She accepts and away
from the city becomes* like a young
colt, roaming the woods one day her
horse became unmanageable and the
half-breed chanced to be near and
rescues her. The old love flame which
remained dormant the past years is
awakened. Ruth forgets all else, ex
cept the old love. She is brought to
her right senses when she sees an
Indian and his squaw and realizes
what her future would be with the In
dian.
The second reel “Animated Weekly
No. 10,” showing all of the most in
teresting current events of the week,
such as the train wreck carrying the
Confederate women on their annual
reunion, dynamiting chimneys, Paris
dynamited by bandits, breaking the
trail, San Francisco to New York and
many other interesting events.
This is a wonderful picture bringing
the happenings of the world to us.
Today’s program is of unusual inter
est; and extra good one, and one to
be appreciated.

FISHING PARTY WILL j
RETURN HOME TODAY
They Have Had Great Luck
in Their Sport 1
The Americus party that has been
enjoying a week of fishing on St.
George's Island, near Apalachicola,
will return tonight or tomorrow morn
ing, after a season of great success
with the rod and reel. A letter re
ceived yesterday stated that the fish
ermen were having rare sport, catch
ing one day alone more than* three
hundred fine bream and perch.
Mr. J. L. Sparks led with an even
hundred to his credit, although there
were others who were very successful.
The weather there was described as
ideal, and the fishing party, occupying
a handsome club house on the island,
is enjoying a great outing.
TO EXPOSE FRAUDS IN
LAND INVESTMENTS
Washington, D. C., June 13.—The
department of agriculture has taken
steps to expose land investment frauds
and protect the people of the country
against the swindling schemes.
Secretary Wilson today ordered the
collection of data to place his depart
ment in position to aid such inves
tors. Bulletins are to be issued warn
ing against certain general proposi
tions and specific information will be
given by correspondence upon re
quest.
Thousands of city folk —and many
others—Secretary Wilson declared to
day, were belngfi encouraged to put
savings into land selling, orchard
growing and crop producing schemes,
many of which were swindles.
“Many people with little or no
knowledge of agriculture are being led
1 to invest money in projects which, by
no reasonalbe chance can ever be
made to pay the profits claimed for
them,” said the secretary.

RFIPENTNG IN ORCHARDS
Express Company Estimates it 7,00*)
Carloads; Exchange at 0,000 Cars.
The Fruit Growers’ Express esti
mates that 7,000 carloads of peaches,
the largest crop in the history of the
state, will be shipped from Georgia
this year. The Georgia Fruit Ex
change thinks the crop will be no
more than 6,000 carloads, and that
while it will be one of the most
bounteous the orchards of the state
have ever borne, it will find a ready
and profitable market.
Early varieties are being shipped
east at the rate of fifteen to eighteen
cars a day. But the bulk of the crop
will not begin to move until June 26
or 27. At that time Hiley Belles and
Georgia Belles, the most prolific va
rieties of peaches, will ripen and be
ready for shipment.
In the east, Georgia peaches are
selling at $2.50 to $3.50 a crate; here
they are wholesailing at $1.25 to $2 a
crate.
