INCREASE IN
ATTENDANCE
AT CHURCH
WITH THE PRESBYTERIANS
Interesting Sermons to Be
Heard Sunday
Attendance at the morning and ev
ening services at the Presbyterian
church here recently has shown a
most pleasing increase, and it is the
desire of the pastor that such good
attendance be made permanent.
There will be two sermons of special
merit to be heard on Sunday when the
pastor will preach at the morning ser
vice on “John and Jesus Baptizinf,”
and at the evening service on “The
Peacemaker.” Both sermons give
promise of healthful and stimulating
discussion of these topics.
The regular meeting of the young
men and women's organization, the
Westminster League, will be held at
7:30 o’clock, just prior to the regu
lar church service. The subject for
discussion will be “The Duty of Be
ing Pleasant.”

THREE EXTRA FINE REELS
SATURDAY AT THE SAVOY
Patrons of The Savoy theatre will
be given an unusually fine bill Satur
day afternoon and night in the pre
sentation of one of Dickens’ master
pieces, “Nicholas Nicklesby,” in three
reels. These pictures are unusually
interesting and attractive and will es
pecially delight the ladies.
The pictures presented at The Sa
voy recently have been particularly
good, and large audiences have at
tended the daily performances, a fact
fully appreciated by Manager Wall,
who continues to put forth his best ef
forts to give a clean and wholesome
show. That he is succeeding ad
mirably is attested by the large at
tendance nightly and the compliment
ary criticisms upon The Savoy’s pic
ture bills.
By all means enjoy “Nicholas Nick
lesby’’ at The Savoy tomorrow after
noon and night. j
