privately, by the undersigned of
certain lands in said county belonging
to his said wards, to wit: ] An undvid
ed one fourth interest in the lands
known as the “Battle Plat e," consist
ing of lot of land numbei two hun
dred and eighty two (282), containing
two hundred, tw r o and one half
(201 1-2) acres, more or less, in the

originally Sumter coun
ty, Georgia. 0s so sought to
be sold so; ifai of reinvestment
in other sale and re in
vestment being desired for the reason
that said interest of said wards in
the said Battle Place above described
is productive of no income to them,
and has on it no improvements, and
is broken and rough, and to make
necessary improvements would entail
an expense which the estate of said
wards cannot afford, and by such sale
and reinvestment a more desirable
body of land can be had for said
W'ards.

the purpose of reinvestment their one
twenty-fourth undivided interest, be
ing the one-sixth undivided remainder
interest of their mother Virginia H.
Broadhurst, now deceased, in the
following lands and real estate to-wit:

dred and seventy (170) except twenty
acres, square in shape, in the North
west corner thereof, also the North
half of lot of land number one hun
dred and eighty-five, all situated and
being in the 9th District of Houston
County, Ga., aggregating 282 1-2 acres

has a life estate in said lands. The
reason for desiring to sell said lands
for reinvestment is, that the lands are
some forty- two or three miles away
from the home of said minors and of
myself as their guardian, and the
further reason said remainder interest

come until the termination of said life

that will presently produce an income
