Spring Millinery Opening

We wish to announce that we now have Miss Bertha Chandler of Balti
more in charge of our Millinery Department as designer and trimmer and
extend to you a very cordial invitation to come in and meet her and talk the
hat question over.
Miss Chandler is a very capable Milliner, having had years of experience
in some of the leading Millinery stores of the country and during the past
month she has been in New York and Baltimore in our interest, studying the
spring styles and arranging foi our stock from which we expect to show the
ladies of Americus and surrounding vicinity a large assortment of the newest
styles and most up-to-date creations in ladies head wear, such as you will not
find excelled in style, even in the larger cities. We now have a few advance
styles un display, but our formal opening will be Tuesday and Wednesday,

Holmes, of Atlanta, requesting infor
mation about J. S. Rawlins, or Joe
Rawlins.
The letter states that reports had
been received that he had been killed
but that they were not able to verify
this. Tlie statement is made that there
is an amount of money left from the
estate of a deceased aunt, which be
longs to Rawlins. Information is
