"OEESTBICKSKULE”
HEBE MEM
The ‘skollars” in the “Deestrick
I Skule,” which will be given at the
Opera House next Wednesday night,
Nov. 15th, in ordinary life are dignified
ladies and gentlemen, prominent in the
professions, in business, and in the
social lift of the city. But from the
( way they are entering into the spirit of
the “skule” it proves that men and
women are only grown up boys and
girls after all.
And nothing is more worthy of the
time they are so ungrudgingly giving
than the work of the Music Study
Club. This club is not only adding to
the fame of Americus, but it is build
! ing up the musical feature of the city.
Among the musical numbers at the
“Deestrick Skule” next Wednesday
night there will be singing by the High
school sextette. This sextette will sing
against the “Deestrick Skule” sextette.
Dr. Frank E. Cato, Macon N. Dudley,
Jchn Mathis, Walter Page, Zach Chil
ders and the other “Deestrick Skule”
boys will give the High school boys a
close race. Everybody is going to
“Skule” to hear them Wednesday
night.
| Other characters in the playlet are:
Skule Master, Lee M. Hansford; Mrs.
Honeysuckle, Mrs. Jas. W. Harris, Jr
Committeemen: Prof. J. E. Mathis,
Frank Harrold, Chas. R. Crisp, Judge
R. L. Maynard, Dr. Lansing Burrows,
Capt. John A. Cobb.
