Mrs. AV. C. Gray and little Miss Vir
ginia Morelajid left Tuesday afternoon
for Hopewell, A'a., where Mrs. Gray
goes to join her husband.
Thos. Harrold, Sr., left Tuesday for
Athens, Ga.. where he will be joined
by his son. Thos. Harrold, Jr., going
thence to Washington, D. C., and New
York.
AV. T. Lane is remodeling his home
on Lee street, and while the work is
in progress the family will reside on
Bell street.
Rev .and Mrs. Paul Ellis and chil
dren left Tuesday by motor for Lump
kin, where Mrs. Ellis and the children
will visit relatives, the former con
tinuing to Fort Gaines, Ga., where he
will attend the Third District Metho
dist convention in session there.
Dr. W. S. Prather left Tuesday a!-
ternoon for Harlem, Ga., his former
home, going there to attend the funeral
of his aunt, Miss Sallie Prather, who
died suddenlj’ Monday night.
Miss Linda Thomason, of Monticello,
Ga., who has been visiting relatives at
Bainbridge, and who stoppe dover in
Americus for a few days visit to Mr.
and Mrs. AV. T. Lane, returned homo
Tuesday.

ify and vote in a special election here
after to be called for an issue of bonds
by said County of Sumter, in the One
Hundred Thousand and No-100 Dol
lars ($100,000.00), and all citizens of
said county who are qualified to vot_>,
if they desire to vote in said election,!

said special election.
