IT LOCAL HOSPITAL
The death of Mrs. R. W. Thompson
aged 24 years uccurred Sunday morn
ing aj 5:30 o’clock at the Americus
and Sumter County Hospital, after an
illness of about 6 weeks. Before her
marriage, the deceased was Miss Mary
Lizzie Bradley, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. L. Bradley, of Leslie, and one
of the most popular young women of
that section.
The funeral was held yesterday af
ternoon at the family cemetery 5
miles east of Americus, Rev. J. W. Pat
terson of the Americus circuit officiat
-1 ing.
The deceased is survived by her hus
band, two daughters, Clara, aged 6
years, and an infant daughter six
weeks old; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J. L. Bradley, and one sister, Mrs. I.
A. Peake, of Cuthbert, Ga.
She was a member of the Central
Baptist church and was generally be
loved by a large circle of friends.

may be prevented.
The ordinances of the city are very
struct on questions of sanitation and
the inspection at this time is for the
purpose of enforcing- them in every
detail.
