The Glee club also includes the Mandolin club, whose-selections willconstitute a part of the program, as well as the vocal numbers by the entire club. The pleasure of hearing these young ladies is due to the efforts of the mittce sent by the Sunday school of that church to Macon during the past week for the purpose of obtaining music for this occasion, which is one cf the most important observed by the school. When in Macon the committee was advised that the Wesleyan Glee club was decidedly the best musical attraction which could be obtained in the entire state, and through the courtesy of Dr. C. R. Jenkins, presi dent of the college, the people of Americus will have the pleasure of hearing the m gnificent program which will he rendered by these young ’ ladies. During their visit to the city, the young ladies will be tendered an in formal reception by the younger mem bers of the Sunday school at the Windsor Hotel, the parlors of the same having been very generously tendered by Mr. L. G. Council for this purpose, on Saturday night from nine to ten o’clock. The club will arrive from Macon on the 7:30 train and will be entertained in the homes of the members of the school until the following Monday morning, and in addition to the re ception tendered them at the Windsor Hotel on Saturday evening will be given an automobile ride ovbr the city and county on Sunday afternoon. The Sunday school of the First Methodist church tenders the public a most cordial invitation to-be present on this occasion and feels that those who come will be rewarded by hear ing the most attractive musical pro gram, both vocal and instrumental.
