.Americus Merchant Financial Wreck.
“I am a financial wreck because
of the expense of doctors and medi
cine for my wife. She has been a
chronic sufferer for 10 years. Some
pronounced it gall stones, some gas
tritis and some intestinal inflamma
tion. I happened to read an ad of
Mayr’s Wonderful Remedy and from
the first dose my wife has steadily
improved.” It is a sample, harmless
preparation that removes the catarr
hal mucus from the intestinal tract
and allays the inflammation which
causes practically all stomach, liver
and intestinal ailments, including ap
pendicitis. One dose will convince or
money refunded. Howell’s Pharmacy.

Word From Headquarters.
“When, where and how will the wax
end?” “I don’t know," replied the land
lord of the Petunia tavern. “However
the young ladies and gents of the
senior class of the village academy,
several of whom are over sixteen years
of age and have been outside of the
county a time or two, are going to set
tie the entire question in a debate to
night. I understand, too, that while
they are at it they will fix things so
there will never be any more wars. So
I shall be able to inform you in full
tomorrow morning.”
How It Happened.
Editor —“I am told that in your ac
count of that fashionable wedding you
actually mentioned the groom’s name
Don’t you know that is contrary to
custom?” Reporter —“Yes; I’m sorry
sir, but you see it happened to creep
in among the out-of-town guests.”—

A WOMAN’S PACK.
The Advice of This Americas Woman
is of Certain Value.
Many a woman’s back has many
aches and pains
Ofttimes 't’s the kidneys fault.
That’s why Doan’s Kidney Pills are
. so effective.
Many Americus women know this.
Read what one has to say about it 1
j |Mrs. C. L. Terry, 524 Let street,
' says: “I suffered for about twelve
years from a dull pain in the small
of my back and I had some slight
trouble with dizziness. There were
' other distressing kidney d’sorders,
too. I used about and a half boxes of
Doan’s Kidney Pills and was so re
lieved I didn’t see the need of tak
' ing any more of them. If I have any
more trouble I will surely use Doan’s
I Kidney Pills, because they are all one
could want for weak kidneys. I advise
all sufferers from kidney trouble to
try Doan’s”
Price 60c, at all dealers. Don’t
simply ask for a kidney remedy—get
Doan’s Kidney Pills—the same that

Alcazar Theatre.
| “Bil” Hart, idol of picture patrons
the world over, has a new role —that
of a railroad detective in “Wolves of
The Rail,” a Thomas H. Ince product
released by Artcraft, w r hich will be
shown at the Alcazar theatre on Thurs
day.
‘ In his new character of “Buck” An
drade,” a railroad detective, he is just
as fearless and daring as when o
posed to law and order, and he makes
short work of ridding the railroad of
outlaws. Mr. Ince has introduced
many novel effects in the way of pho
tographic surprises that assist in mak
ing “Wolves of the Rail’ one of the
most pretentious screen offerings by
Arte raft.
