A Confidential Letter Made Public
MR. D. R. ANDREWS, Mgr. II 'J. r ’"” ' . ’ _ Y
Rylander Shoe Co.,
Americus, Ga.
My Dear Sir:
I was in your city on a recent Sunday and noticed a number
of men on your streets that were noticeable for their COOL, well
dressed appearance. They were really so comfortable looking while
I was sweltering with the heat that in a round about way I asked
who did their tailoring, and believe me. I was surprised when I got
a unanimous answer “Style Plus Cool Suits from Rylander’s.”
A little later I met and talked with several of the men from
Souther Field, those young fellows that appear to be the pick of the
country for courtesy, neatness and well-dressed appearance, and
again witness my surprise when they referred me to “Rylander’s of
course. If it’s in town, you’ll find it at Rylander’s,’’seems to be a
sort of a slogan among them. They seem to think mighty well of
you and your store, and I hope your continued courtesies and service
will bring in more and more of them to trade with you.
Well, Dave, I ended up by going into “Rylander’s, of Course,”
and purchasing a couple of those COMFORT OUTFITS that
your advertisement writer has been using up so much space in the
Times-Recorder for, and I’m glad that I did, for now I line up with
the COOL ONES also, and look down on those hot, perspiring
individuals who don’t “Meet Me at Rylander’s,” and get wise to this
COMFORT dope you are haniding out. Thanks for vour cam
paign of publicity putting us hot heads wise to a good thing. Your
friend for comfort.
