need of a tonic. I thought it was the
lack of Iron and decided to try Ziron,

I TOUCHING MEMORIAL
1 FOR GEORGIA CAPTAIN
, ■ - ——
ATLANTA, Nov. 25.—One of the
most touching memorial service in
honor of soldiers who have given
their lives in France was that held
here in honor of Lieutenant Henry M.
Atkinson. Jr-, who died while serving
with his regiment at Angers, France,
on November 2. A large gathering of
friends attended the service, and fine
tributes were paid to the character
and life of the young Atlanta officer.
Lieutenant Atkinson was the son
of H. M. Atkinson, chairman of the
board of directors of the Georgia Rail
way and Power Company. Although
only 26 years old at the time of his
death he had already made good to
a marked extent in his army career.
He was a graduate of Harvard l*ni
versity and had studied also for thre
years at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.
At the outbreak of the war he en
tered the first officers’ training camp
and was tendered a captain’s com
mission. This he declined, however,
in order to accept a provisional sec
ond lieutenant commission in the reg
ular army. He was transferred there
after to the coast artillery, soon win
ning promotion to a first lieutenancy.
He was stationed at Angers in the ar
tillery school there.
An epidemic of influenaz broke out,
and be was assisting in nursing the
sick when he contracted the disease
and later died of pneumonia.

There is one safe, dependable treatment
that relieves itching torture and skin irri
tation almost instantly and that cleanses
and soothes the skin.
Ask any druggist for a 35c or $1 bottle
of zemo and apply it as directed. Soon
you will find that irritations, pimples,
blackheads, eczema, blotches, ringworm
and similar skin troubles will disappear.
• A little zemo, the penetrating, satisfy
ing liquid, is all that is needed, for it
banishes most skin eruptions and makes
the skin soft, smooth and healthy.

AS YOUNG AS
YOUR KIDNEYS
The secret of youth is ELIMINA

This done, you can live to be a hun

life with as much “pep” as you did
when in the springtime of youth.
Keep your body in good condition,
that’ s the secret.
Watch the kidneys. The kidneys
and digestive organs are the main
caus es. The kidneys filter and purify
the blood. All the blood passes
through your kidneys once every
three minutes. They strain or filter
out the impurities. Keep them clean
