PAGE FOUR SENATOR REED AIDS G. 0. P. IN LEAGUE ATTACK F _____ WASHINGTON. Feb. 22.—(8y Asso ciated Press.) —Support for the re publican. attacks iu the senate upon the proposed League of Nations came from the democratic side today when Senator Reed, of Missouri, delivered a prepared address in denunciation of the league. He supported the charge of Senator Borah, of Idaho, that the league would abrogate the Monroe Doctrine and compel the submission of vital American questions to a for eign tribunal. | AMUSEMENTS “Oh Sammy," the attraction that will be seen at the Opera House next Monday night, Feb. 24, is a play of the recent season. It tells the story of a rich young rounder whose chief object in life is to fool his wife and enjoy himself. That he does have one glorious time is quite evident to all ■who witness his adventures. There are numerous musical inter polations and a bevy of pretty girls who assist in the entertainment, writ bm only to amuse, it is said to more than fulfill its promises. Lawson Stapleton returned to Amer icus Friday night from St. Louis, where he was called to a conference of salesmen of the Brown Shoe Co. He returned with a grouch against Postmaster General Burleson, because the mails failed to bring him The Times-Recorder as promptly as he desired, and missed getting to him be fore he left a letter written early in the week by Mrs. Stapleton. SIOO Reward, SIOO The readers of this paper will be pleased to learn that there is at least one dreaded disease that science has been able to cure in all its stages and that is catarrh. Catarrh being greatly influenced by constitutional conditions requires constitutions' treatment. Hall’s Catarrh Medicine is taken internally and acts thru the Blood on the Mucous Sur faces of the System thereby destroying the foundation of the disease, giving the patient strength by building up the con stitution and assis’ing nature in doing its work. The proprietors have so much faith in the curative powers of Hall’s Catarrh Medicine that they offer One Hundred Dollars for any ease that it fails to cure Send for list of testimonials. Addisss F.
