FOUNDATION NOW
LAID FOR GREAT
AERIAL SERVICE
SOUTHER FIELD, April 15.—“ The
aeronautical interests, bringing to the
attention of the American people the
progress made in aviation through the
aircraft demonstrations contemplated
at Atlantic City, N. J., in May of this
year, are to be congratulated upon the
support they have received from all
over the country,” said Captain
Charles J. Glidden, of the administra
tive department, United States Flying
School, Souther Field.
“My observation and close study of
aeronautics for the past 11 years
prompts me to say that the foundation
is now laid upon which will be built in
this country a complete aerial service,
connecting all cities and towns for
the transportation of persons, mail
and merchandise; that before the close
of 1920 this great aerial fleet will be in
full operation and extended to all
countries on this hemisphere.
“In the United States trunk lines
will be established across the coun
try and every city and town will be
within 6 hours of some twenty-five
distributing points. Once established,
our extended coast line would be un
der complete protection and an invas
ion impossible.
“Thousands of college trained avia
tors in and out of the service are now
waiting to join in the operation of an
air service. The air service of the
government has put out an urgent
call for 15,000 men to join the air ser
vice through a one or three year pe
riod of enlistment. This is bound to
receive a quick response as here is
an opportunity for inen to become in
terested in the service, and of those
who enlist the number of men requir
ed, who pass certain examinations,
may take flying instructions and be
come non-commissioned officers, or
even commissioned officers. This is
an unheard of privilege the govern
ment offers men to become experts in
all branches of aviation and receive
what is equivalent to a one or three
years college course in aeronautics at
the expense of the government. As the
number is limited to fifteen thousand
for the entire country, quick action on
the part of those desiring to get into
this branch of the service is neces
sary.”

FARMER HAD NOT
EATEN LEAN MEAT
IN FIVEJEARS
His Kidney pained him and was up
five or six times each nikht—Two
bottles of Dreco gave relief.
“When I first started taking Dreco,
I could hardly stand up from vertigo
and dizzy spells. I had to get up five
and six times every night to relieve
| my kidneys and bladder,” says Mr. C.
I D. Barker of Nicholson, Ga.
“I had not touched a piece of lean
meat in five years. I felt tired and
worn out all the time. I was a sick
man and was scared about my condi
tion, and to add to my other troubles,
I fell and broke my left wrist. I was
very blue and discouraged, when look
ing over the Athens paper, I read
about Dreco and went to the drug
store and got a liberal sample from
the Doctor, who was giving it out, and,
like many of my neighbors, discovered
the wonderful virtues of this grand
medicine. I got ease and began to im
prove, and since taking two bottles
of Dreco, my dizziness is all gone;
pains in my back entirely relieved and
I never have to get up during the night
as before, but sleep all night, and rise
next morning feeling refreshed and
hungry for my breakfast.
“I butchered my hogs recently and
am now eating fried sausage every
morning, and my kidneys don’t bother
me at all. Best of all though is my
general condition is so much improved
that the pains in my wrist have diaa
peared, and it is much more supple
and useful. Dreco is a grand medi
cine and I’ll always praise it.”
Dreco is now sold by all good drug
gists throughout the country and is
highly recommended in Americus by
Americus Drug Co. adv

CONSTIPATION
: And Soar Stomach Caused Thu
Lady Much Suffering. Black*
Draught Relieved.
j Meadorsville, Ky.—Mrs. Pearl Pab
I rick, of this place, writes: "I waa
I very constipated. I had sour stomach I
' and was so uncomfortable. I went to
the doctor. He gave me some pills.
They weakened me and seemed to
tear up my digestion. They would
gripe me and afterwards It seemed
I was more constipated than before.
I heard of Black-Draught and de
cided to try it I found it just what I
> needed. It was an easy laxative, and
not bad to ■swallow. My digestion soon
Improved. I got well of the sour stom
ach, my bowels soon seemed normal,
no more griping, and I would take a
dose now and then, and was in good
shape.
I cannot say too much for Black-
Draught for it is the finest laxative
one can use.”
Thedford’s Black-Draught has for

In the treatment of stomach, liver and
