stall Tell-Tale Lines of Ape.—Met
heed It To Mate Strong, Vigorous
Bodies and Steady Nerves.
Weak, thin people—men or women
—are nearly always nervous wrecks;
thus conclusively proving that thin
ness, weakness, debility and neuras
thenia are almost invariably due to
nerve starvation. Feed your nerves
and all these symptoms due to nerve
starvation, will disappear.
Eminent specialists state that the
best nerve food is an organic phos
phate known among druggists a;
Bitro-Phosphate, an five-grain tablet
of which should be taken fith each meal
Being a genuine nerve builder and net
a stimulant or habit-forming drug, Bit
ro-Phosphate can be safely taken by
the weakest and most delicate suffered,
and the results following ts use are
often simply astonishing.
Weak, tired people regain strength
and vigor; thinness and angularity
give way to plumpness and curves;
sleep returns to the sleepless; con
fidence and cheerfulness replace de-.
bility and gloom; dull eyes become
bright, and pale, sunken cheeks regain j
V ■ pink glow of health. Bitro-Phos
phate, the use of which is inexpensive,
also wonderfully promotes the assimil
ation of food, so much so that many
people report marked gains of weight
in a few weeks. It is sold by the
Aniericus Drug Company in Americus
and all good drugists.
CAUTION: —Although bitro-phos
phate is unsurpassed for relieving
nervousness, sleeplessness and general
weakness, it should not, owing to its
remarkable flesh-growing properties,
be used by anyone who does not de
sire to put on flesh.
DRINK A GLASS
OF REAL HOT WATER
BEFORE BREAKFAST.
Says we will both look and feel I
clean, sweet and fresh
and avoid Illness.
Sanitary science has of late made f
rapid strides with results that are of j
untold blessing to humanity. The lat-'
est application of its untiring research ;
is the recommendation that it is as '
necessary to attend to internal sanita
tion of the drainage system of the hu
man body as it is to the drains of the
house.
Those of us who ar accustomed to
feel dull and heavy when we arise, !
splitting headache, stuffy from a cold, i
foul tongue, nasty breath, acid stom- j
ach, can, instead, feel as fresh as a
daisy by opening the sluices of the sys
tem each morning and flushing out the
whole of the Internal poisonous stag
nant matter.
Everyone, whether ailing, sick or'
well, should, each morning before
breakfast, drink a glass of real hot
water with a teaspoonful of limestone
phosphate In It to wash from the stom
ach, liver and bowels the previous
day’s indigestible waste, sour bile and
poisonous toxins; thus cleansing,
sweetening and purifying the entire
alimentary canal before putting more
food into the stomach. The action of
hot water and limestone phosphate on
an empty stomach is wonderfully in
vigorating. It cleans out all the sour
fermentations, gases, waste and acidity
and gives one a splendid appetite for
breakfast. While you are enjoying
your breakfast the phosphated hot
water Is quietly extracting a large vol
ume of water from the blood and get
ting ready for a thorough flushing of
all the Inside organs.
The millions of people who are both
ered with constipation, bilious spells
etomach trouble, rheumatic stiffness
others who have sallow skins, bloot
disorders and sickly complexions ar<
urged to get a quarter pound of lime
atone phosphate from the drug store
This will cost very little, but is suit
cient to make anyone a pronounce

Ration.

Maine Making Own
Br nnd of Top Skull’
ATLANTA, April 25.—The fame of
Georgia ‘moonshine’’ liquor has
spread to far-off Maine, where the
* good folk who are given to imbibing
. the beverage that both cheers and
inebriates are now merrily manufae
. turing their own brand of “pop-skull’’
. in the good old Georgia way, accord
i ing to United States Marshal J. S. R.
’ H. Wilson, of Portland, Me. The mar
j shal is in Atlanta to bring two "yegg
men'’ to the federal penitentiary.
He indicates that the revenue agents
in New England are having troubles
of their own and that the sub-rosa
manufacture of intoxicating beverages
is on the increase throughout that
section. The inhabitants of the Pine
Tree state are partial to a particular
brand of booze made from maple su
gar and rye, the concoction being said
; to have a potency like unto the wal
lop of a mule’s hind leg. I’ntil re
cently ‘moonshine” was practically
unknown in Maine, according to Mar
; shal Wilson, but it is said that an
enterprising Georgian, far from his
native heath and desiring liquid re
freshment unobtainable in that arid
land, contrived to manufacture a bev
erage of passing strength by the aid
of materials- such as could be had.
The popularity of his product is
sweeping the entire state, says the
federal officer.

DRECOHAS DONE
Columbus lady is greatly improved.
Believed oi constipation, backache
and uevousness.
Any remedy that restores the natur
al functions of the human body is a
health-making remedy. The use of
Dreco, the great herb medicine, tends
to restore the appetite, to procure
natural digestion, which is followed j
by an increased circulation and nu- I
trition of the whole body. Lean, hag-!
gard, bloodless people begin to gain j
weight, strength and flesh at once;
from taking Dreco and they them- ;
selves declare in signed testimonials. !
For instance:. Mrs. F. S. Nance, the
highly esteemed lady of BS7 37th St.,
Columbus, Ga., who says;
"For a long time I have had an i
aggravated case of kidney trouble;
my stomach did not digest my food
well; my bowels were constipfcted
daily, and I became quite nervous.!
I tried many remedies but none did j
the work until I found Dreco, and
this herbal remedy has made me feel
like a new person. lam sure it is
the grandest medicine ever sold here.”
People who are rundown, tired out,
debilitated—no matter what the cause
—are advised to try this little test:
Get from any well stocked drug store
a bottle of Dreco. Take a spoonful
with each meal for a few days and
watch how the change works through
the entire body. The appetite in
creases; everything you eat seems to
taste better. There is no dyspepsia
or gas after each meal. The bow
els, kidney, liver and stomach work
in harmony and the rich red blood
goes coursing through the veins. This
is what hundreds of men and women
of this section say Dreco has done for !
them. Isn’t it reasonable to expect!
it to do the same for you?
All good druggists throughout the
j country now sell Dreco and it is high
ly recommended in Americus by

5 ATLANTA, April 25.—The mam
moth memorial that is to be graven on
the rocky face of Stone Mountain will
commemorate not only the deeds of
the heroes of the Confederacy, but
also the patriotism and sacrifices of
the Southern soldier in all the wars
since the Revolution. This decision
has been reached by the Stone Moun
tain Memorial association, which has
employed Gutzon Borglum, the famous
sculptor, to complete the huge mem
orial.
Mrs. Helen Rounsaville, of Rome,
president of the association, is re
sponsible for the suggestion to make
the memorial expressive of the feel
ings of the South toward her sons
who have fought in the various wars
in which America has participated.
The work will be taken up without
delay, having been suspended during
the world war, and carried on to
completion as rapidly as possible. The
United Daughters of the Confederacy,
who originated the idea of the mam
moth memorial mountain, hold the ti
tle deeds to the huge boulder, which
is the largest monolith in the world.

SEVERE TEST SHOWS
HOW THE SHOES
“A molder in our foundry wore a
pair of shoes with Neolin Soles every
day for ten months and two weeks—
both in the foundry, and to and from
his work—and they are just worn out.”
The Sessions Foundry Company of
Bristol, Connecticut, makes this report
on a pair of Neolin-soled molders’
shoes given them for test.
Neolin Soles have none of the short
comings of other soles. They do not
burn or crack under conditions such
as these —nor do they wear out quickly
under the grind of abrasive materials.
They are made by Science to be es
pecially tough and durable, will stand
the roughest kind of usage and so
wear longer and save money. More
over, they are comfortable and water
proof.
You can get them on new shoes in
many styles for men, women and chil
dren —or as re-soles. They are manu
factured by The Goodyear Tire &
Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, who also
make Wingfoot Heels—guaranteed to
