AUGUST 16. I'm awfully sorry I didn’t buy that wonderful long, wide scarf of monkey skin fur that I saw last May, for I think it’s going to be quite the fashionable fur this fall and winter. I’ve noticed it being used a lot as fringe in trimming, both the black and white fur. Erne lie had on a new hat yesterday made of white silk faille and over the edge of the brim hung a fringe of black monkey fur that was long and silky and the bluest black ever saw. Her white georgette frock had a sash of blue and black satin ribbon that accentuated the effect. She always wears the very newest things, you know.
