Cotton Producers Attention! Do not let your baled cotton ruin out in the weather. If you wish to hold it for a living price, you can save money by storing it in my weather proof ware houses. These are equipped with a modern fire sprinkler system, which gives me a very low insurance rate. Will make liberal advances on cotton thus stored at a reasonable interest rate, thereby enabling you to hold for the advance which is likely before an other crop. L. G. COUNCIL. US, too.” Tinker Bob was glad Jie had brought a little sunshine into the life of Sammy Rabbit. Sammy was glad also, for he was very lonesome. But hardly had these children start ‘ed off to play when Red Fox, the .king of the mountain side, came along. “Who is this youngster, playing with Miss Susie?” asked Red as he came up. “That is Sammy Rabbit,” said Tinker Bob. “He has no home at all and Miss Susie said he could live in her home.” “I would like to see the young fellow,” said Red Fox. “I might fW'f ®3 JLi«-2-uL The Beautiful Creature Brought Sammy Rabbit Out of the River And Set Him By Tinker’* Side. be able to help him.” But Tinker could see from his actions that he did not tell the truth. “I always like to help some one in need,” Red Fox continued, with an ugly grin that showed his long white teeth. “I must see if I cah find him.” As he trotted away Tinker Bob followed, a little way pff. They wan dered through thickets and over fields toward the mountain side, and there at the foot of the mountain Red Fox found little Sammy Rabbit playing around the big rocks. Said Red Fox to little Sammy: “Come with me and I’ll show you where I live.” Tinker Bob was worried, because he was afraid that Red Fox might harm little Sammy. “There,” said Red Fox, “I live under this rock. Go fonder, young fellow, and look for yourself.” “No! No!” cried Miss Susie. “You will fall.” “Don’t be afraid, young fellow,” said Red Fox. Little Sammy hopped over to the edge of the flat rock and looked down. “Now this is what always happens to strangers in my land,” Red Fox showed his teeth and tipped the rock and Sammy slipped off. “Don’t let him fall,” cried Tinker, and in the same instant the Beautiful Creature brought Sammy Rabbit out of the river and set him by Tinker’s side. When Red Fox, who had been look ing over the edge vis the rock to see Sammy go down in the water, looked up and saw him sitting by Tinker, it startled him so that he fell off the rock and was drowned. Little Sammy an« Susie went off to play together, happy that Sammy had been saved. And Tinker Bob was left alone again.
