BOX SUPPER TO
RAtSE FUNDS.
On Hallowe’en evening a play was i
given by the High school pupils in
! the school building. This was “The
Deacon,” and the auditorium of the I

audience. Art appreciable amount
was raised on this occasion, which 1
! swelled the coffers for the purpose of
adding equipment to the building
“Just For Fun" was given by the fac
ulty of the school in February and
• i this was so unusually creditable'that
the residents of Draneville requested
that it be presented in their commun
ity at a later dale. It met with so
much success upon this occasion, that
it will be repeated for the third time
at Ebenezer in Schley county, on
April 26.
SOME OF THE THINGS
MADE BY THE SCHOOL BOYS
The boys in the manual training
department are forging ahead in their
lines. Many useful arlivi: havu
been made by them and presented to
the school building. Among these
'are magazine racks, lunch cabinets,
and tables, tables for water a: <1

been donated by interested patrons
of the schoo. Miss Amzie Daniel
i gave the school a splendid map of the
United States, and Mrs. Eugene
| Drane contributed a water cooler.
SOME OUTSIDE DONNA.TIONS
BY PATRONS AND FRIENDS.

very generous in their contributions
jto the school equipment. Among the

i shovels, . hammer, pencil trimmer
. creer.ed well and pump, window j
shades, bulletin board, pans, backets, j
dipper, brooms, waste baskets. Many j
new books have been added to the
library through the contributions of
friends. »
THE TIMES-RECORDER
USED IN ENGLISH COURSE.
The Times-Recorder comes in for ;
its share of the educational work in
the school. This paper is received I
daily, and lessons in English and I
journalism are taught the pupils front
its pages. They like to read this live
daily, and the school table is not;
complete without its copy of the
paper.
MONEY DONATED BY
COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
The money donated by the board
of education at its meeting in
Amerieus Tuesday will be expended
in installing a domestic scienee kitch
en and i-n adding a music room.
This will be added to the regular

LAST BUT NOT
LEAST, APRIL 26.
The only remaining public program
. to be given by the school is that of
; Memorial Day exercises on April 26.
This will be made as attractive as pos
sible, and appropriate exercises will
be given. A closing program at the
end of the term will be dispensed
with on account of so much loss of
time by the pupils during the year on
account of illness, and it is deemed
lanted in the
best by the faculty to devote this
time to hard study.
PUPILS CONTRIBUTE TO
RED CROSS AND MARNE FUNDS.
The pupils are as generous as they <
are studious. The Red Cross work j
and Marne Memorial movements have |
come in for their share pf contribu- i
tions from the big-hearted pupils. Al
together they are a splendid aggrt?-'
gation of students, and the commun- j
ity and the county are alike very j
proud of the splendid progress made
by the school.
4 TEACHERS COMPOSE
FACULTY OF THE SCHOOL.
The splendid faculty is composed j
of Miss Lila Echols, principal; Miss
Mollie Forrest, 5 and 6 grades; Mrs.
H. H. Guest, 1 and 2 grades, and Miss

From Three Years’ Suffering. Says
Cardui Made Her Well.
Texas City, Tex.—ln an interesting
statement, Mrs. G. H. Schill, of this town,
says: “For three, years I suffered untold
agony with my head. I was unable to
do any of my work.
I just wanted to sleep all the time, for
that was the only ease I could get, when
I was asleep. I became a nervous wreck
just from tiie awful suffering with my
head.
I was so nervous that the least noise
would make me jump out of my bed. I
had no energy, and was unable to do
anything. My son, a young boy, had to
do all my household duties.
I was not able to do anything until 1
took Cardui. I took three bottles in all,
and it surely cured me of those awful
headaches. That has been three years
ago, and I know the cure is permanent,
for I have never had any headache since
taking Cardui. ..
Nothing relieved me until 1 took Cardui.
It did wonders for me.”
