R. M. Dozier, a former Columbus
man, has been elected president of
the Union Railway company, of Mem
phis. Mr. Dozier succeds W. S.
Martin, who has been president for
five years. The Union Railway com
pany is owned by the Missouri Pacif
ic railroad and operates 26 miles of
tracks through thq industrial belt
of Memphis.
Dr. Harvey Warren Cox, who has
held the chair of Philosophy at the
University of Florida for some time,
has been elected president of Emory
University at Atlanta and will as
sume his new duties at the opening!

All schools of Colquitt county will
have a seven months term, opening,
