W. F. Livingston, 62, died at his
home in Pitts, Ga„ a few days ago
from injuries sustained when a mule
hitched to a wagon, in which Mr.

ened and ran away. Mr. Livingston
was thrown from the vehicle and his I

The Federal Trade Commission has
been requested by Senator Harris,
of Georgia, to make an investigation
of the high prices for bagging and
ties for cotton. The senator said
complaints were reaching him that
the prices of bagging and ties were
remaining high, while many other
products of jute and iron had suffer
ed great declines, such as fertilizer
bags.
Tom Moran, postmaster of Moran,
was arrested at Macon Saturday,
chagred with havin'* a gallon of
moonshine in his possession. Moran’s
■ Ford was seized and the whisky con-
■ fiscated. Officers say that Moran
■ was regularly bringing whisky into
sr Macon and disposing of it.
