Mrs. Willie Swansberg, of Atlanta,
has filed suit in the Bibb Superior
court asking for $50,000 damages
from the Macon Gas company as the
result of the explosion and fire at
the Brown House hotel last August,
which caused the death of her hus
band, Harry Swansberg, a Central
of Georgia engineer.
Perry Barber and Calvin Parker
brought in another large bear killed
in the Okefenokee swamp near Way
cross Friday. This made the second
bear killed by Barber for the week,
the first one being killed last Mon
day, and weighed in the neighbor
hood of 400 pounds. This one
weighed over 500 and is said to be
one of the largest ever killed in this
section.
The Hudson murder case will be
present as business of importance
will be brought before the confer
ence.
