tees decide that the time is propitious
for running a gubernatorial candi
date, a meeting of the state conven
tion of the Republican party will be
called at which the nomination for
governor will be made.
The state executive committee of
the Republican state central com
mittee, which met in Atlanta S.'dur
day upon the. call of Acting Chait
man Louie Crawford, is composed <>!’
the chairmen from the twelve con
gressioual districts of the stab. At

its deliberations, party organization
work was fully discussed and plan
for the district meetings made.
Vice Chairman Louie Crawford,
who is in active charge of the state

the meeting and will he the nominal
head of the party in Georgia during
