of his injuries in a hospital during
the night. h
With the dead accounted for ->nd
most of them buried, thoughts todav
were turned to relief of the sur
vivors.
Governor McLeod last night is
sued a proclamation to the .people
of the state asking that financial
aid should be extended. Relief
funds are being raised throughout
the state. Offers of aid from
throughout the nation yesterday were
declined by Mayor Garrison/ who
heads the committee in charge of
this work.

Episcopal Bishop of Georgia to
Celebrate 15th Anniversary
of Consecration Sunday
SAVANNAH, May 19—Members
of the Episcopal churcii here are
planning an elaborate service to be
held on Sunday evening at Christ
church in celebration of the fifteenth
anniversary of the consecration of
the Rt. Rev. F. F. Reese, D. D , as
bishop of Georgia. The four par
ishes of Christ church, St. John’s,
St. Paul s and St. Michael and All
Angels are combining in honoring'
Bishop Reese, and their rectors and
choirs will take part in the service.
Invitations have been extended to
all of the clergy of the diocese, the
members of the standing committee
of the diocese, the Greek priest, the
members oil the local Protestant
Pastors’ association, the clergy of the
Lutheran church, and the Roman
Catholic bishop. The address of
the evening will be given by Bishop
Rtc.e, who will be, preceded by one
of the local clergymen who will give
a short introductory talk. Bishop
Reese will preach at the morning
service at Christ church, and will be
the celebrant at the service of the
communion, which will fallow
o’clock service.

week with her granddaughter, Mrs,
C. R. Morgan, at her home near
Americus.
Mrs, S. J. Bradley spent Thursday
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.
A. Parker.
Mrs. A. D. Antry, spent Friday
with her parents Mr. and Mrs. L.
M. Mercer.
