THOMAS FARMERS ARE
DISCOURAGED BY RAINS
THOMASVILLE, ’ May 30.—1 t
looks as if today ought to be the
culmination of the rainy period as
enough water has fallen to last
for some tipie to come. The rains
ha e come almost without warning
and although called showers they
have really been-‘downpours. The
farmers are groaning over much
wetness and the boll weevil is re
joit ing as it is just the sort of wea
ftiev that little pest most enjoys. I
Some day it will, stop raining and

CHANGE OF LIFE
Florida Lady Was in a Miserable
Condition, But Says She Found
Cardui Helpful, and
Got Well.
Altha, Fla.—ln explaining how she
ound Cardui so helpful during change of
ife, Mrs. Ella M. Bailey, of Route 2, this
)lace, said:
"I became so weakened it was an effort
or me to get around. 1 knew what was
he matter, but 1 felt like I couldn’t give
in.
“1 just dragged, and 1 certainly was
nervous. I was so restless 1 could not
sit down long—yet so weak I couldn’t
?et about. It is a most miserable and
such a helpless feeling.
“1 would get depressed and out of
lieart.
“1 began to feel, after awhile, there was
no use to try to get well. This is all
wrong, for it makes a person worse.
“1 had heard of Cardui, and thought it
might strengthen me. A neighbor had
used it with good results.
“I took one bottle (of Cardui), then I
saw 1 wasn’t so nervous, so kept it up.
“Gradually the nervousness left me.
1 began to eat apd sleep better. Was
soon well, and all right. Cardui did
wonders for me, and 1 certainly do
recommend it.”
Thousands of other women have writ
ten, to tell of the beneficial results obtain
ed by taking Cardui, and to recommend
it to others. .
