If s Cruel to
“Physic” a Child
To Dr. W. B.
Caldwell, of Monti
cello, 111., a prac
ticing physician for
47 years, it seemed
cruel that so many
! constipated infants
and children had to
i be kept constantly
. “stirred up” and
half sick by taking
cathartic pills, tab
■ lets, salts, calomel
and nasty oils.
While he knew
that constipation
kt
DR. CALDWELL
AT AGE 83
was the cause of nearly all children’s
little ills, he did not believe that a
sickening “purge” or “physic” every
little while was necessary.
In Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin he
discovered a laxative which regulates
the bowels. A single dose will estab
lish natural, healthy bowel movement
lor weeks at a time, even if the
child was chronically constipated.
Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin not only
causes a gentle, easy bowel move
ment but. best of all. it is often
months before another dose is neces
sary. Besides, it is absolutely harm
less, and so pleasant that even a
cross, feverish, bilious, sick child
Dr- Caldwell's
SYRUP
PEPSIN
gladly takes it.

Remember, how it used to be
when you could hardly wait
for mealtime? And then, sit down
and eat several helpings of every
thing—enjoy every morsel and get
up from the table feeling satisfied
with the World, happy with every

But what a difference in living
when even the sight and smell of
food sickens you! Never hungry—
no matter how tempting the food is
—nothing tasting right. And then,
after nibbling at a few bites, feel

Oh, life is hardly worth living

those of the past few years.
' “Until recently I have been oper

since I left Americus. , My trips
through Southwest Georgia and into

opportunity to make many reliable
observations.
; “Florida is on a tremendous boom.
Lots of money is pouring into that
state, but Georgia is also affected.
To save me I can not see anything
. but the brightest possible future for
this sectiop. It is already appar
