in the event anyone of the notes
above referred to should fall due
without payment that the grantee or
his assigns may treat the entire

purposes whatever. The entire debt
due by virtue of said notes has been
declared due by the undersigned as
provided by the terms and condi
tions of said deed to secure debt and
there will be due on the total hmount
of said notes, including principal and
interest as of the date of the sale,
the sum of Two Thousand Eight
and 60-100 ($2008.60) Dollars, be
sdies expenses, costs and ten per cent
attorney’s fees in connection with an
incident to this sale, secured by said
deed to secure debt.
On the 2nd day of February, 1922,
the said H. R. Johnson endorsed the
above described notes, also all his
rights, title, interest and equity, in
cluding the land, power of attorney
and rights under the same in and
to the deed to secure debt above de
scribed to the undersigned. The as
signment of said deed to secure debt,
together with the above described
lands, the power of attorney and
rights under the same, was recorded
in the ofice of the Clerk of the Su
perior Court of Sumter County, Ga.,
on Februrary 2, 1922 in deed book
XX, page 495. The above described
notes, deed to secure debt, together
with the legal title to the land there
in described and all the right, title,
interest and powers therein contain
ed, including power of sale in said
deed to secure debt have been assign
ed and delegated to and are now held

1925. there will be submitted to the
qualified voters of the City of
■Americus the proposal to put into
effect the provisions of Article 7,
Section 2. Paragraph 2-a. of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia,
that is to say, to exempt any per
son, natural or artificial, a resident
of this State, who may build, equip,
establish or enlarge a plant for man
ufacture or processing of ~cotton
wool, linen, silk, rubber, clay, wood,
metal, metallic or non-mptallic, min
erad or combination of the same,
creamery or cheese plant, or for the
prqduction or development .of elec
tricity, as to such buildings, enlarge
ment or equipment, from all city ad
valorem taxes for a period of five
years from the date of th e beginning
of the building. enlargement or
equipment of such plants.
If a majority of the electors act
ing in said election shall vote in fa
vor of said proposed tax exemption
the same shall go into effect.

Brvant Griffin and Charlie Dempsey
Griffin conveyed to the undersigned
the hereinafter described tract or
parcel of land to secure a loan of
$3,500.00 made to them by the un
dersigned, evxienced by a series of
twenty one notes, the first for
$183.75 and due December 1. 1924
and each of the others for $330.38
and due one each year on the first
day of December, beginning 1925
and ending 1944; and
IVhereas, in said security deed
they contracted and agreed that in
the event they should fail to pay all
taxes on said land when due, or
should fail to pay when due any of
said notes evidencing said indebted
ness. that then, in either event, the
whole of said indebtedness secured
thereby would become due and pay
able at the option of the undersign

Whereas, said security deed fur
ther provides that in the event of
