Wholesale Horse Market.
There is no city in Georgia bet
ter situated for a wholesale horse
market than Amerlcus. It is tbe
natural trading point for some ten
surrounding counties, with good
facilities for shipment. Then it
has the whole of 8ou' U Georgia to
the Florida line to draw from, who
now of necessity trade in Atlanta.
In South Georgia the towns that
would naturally trade in Amerlcus,
if it were made a wholesale market,
would be Albany, Camilla, Tbom-
asville, Bainbfidge, Valdosta and
Quitman, besides many smaller
places. The facilities for handling
horses and males in A mericus are
equal to tbuse in Atlanta, with tbb
advantage of a much milder cli
mate. We have four good stables,
capable of handling hundreds of
horses, ail well supplied with good
yards and water. One of these
tables is one'of the largest in the

The latest postal law decision is
to the effect that publishers of

Under this law it is a dangerous
triek for a man to allow his sub
