Oliver Williams, ail industrious
colored farmer who lives in Brooks
county, carried two bales of last
year's cotton to (Riitman last Sat

dustries and taboo politics, their
condition would in a short time

That our people are united in

and cotton is doing finely, A good
crop will put nearly all of our far
mers out of debt, with plenty of
provisions to make another crop.

mers to help themselves.
Lemons have not been so source
and high for years in New York as
they are at present. Tlie fruit men
attribute tills to tlie hot weather in
