While the bondholders bought the road, for they owned it already, the same parties who engineered the A. & F. deal are said to have had a linger in the pie. To go back to the Abbeville and Way- cross: Tills same gentleman said that the large freight bill referred to abovo was paid by the *Ytli>ntn anil Florida. Ho said further that the gap from Fort Valley to Abbeville will ho filled I In, that the A. & W. will he completed and extended from Waycross to Ilruns- w-lck, where the A. & F. has already secured terminal facilities, and that the Atlanta and Florida would then be at 'om l the sea.
