Tike another woman
—the one wlw’s used Dr. Pierce’s
Favorite Prescription. She’s a
stronger and a happier woman—
and a healthy one. The aches,
pains, and weaknesses, that made
life miserable are gone—the func
tional disturbances or irregularities
that caused them have been cured.
Face and figure show the change,
too. Health has restored the
charms that rightfully belong to
her. For all the weaknesses and
ailments peculiar to womanhood,
“ Favorite Prescription ” is a posi
tive remedy. No other medicine
for women is guaranteed, as this is,
to give satisfaction in every case,
or the money is refunded. It's pro
prietors are w illing to take the risk.
What it has done, warrants them
in guaranteeing wdiat it will do.
It’s the cheapest medicine you
can buy, because it’s guaranteed to
give satisfaction, or your money is
returned.
You only pay for the good you
get.
Can you ask more ?
That’s the peculiar plan all Dr.
Pierce’s medicines are sold on.

County Tux#**, According to the Decision
of Judt;** Mar-hall J. Clarke
Atlanta. August The railroads
in the state of Georgia must pay the
special county tax to the counties
j ‘lirough which they pass.
; This is the decision of Judge Marshall
: .1. Clarke.
i A recent special act of the legislature
j provided for the collection of this tax.
j This bill to make the railroads pay
! this tax was introduced by the Hon. W.
jr. Glenn, who is now a candidate for
'assistant attorney general. What this;
: will be worth to the counties can never j
: be estimated. It will amount to over
j half a million dollars a year.
Hon. W. A. Little filed the bill for the
railroads asking for the injunction.
Col. Anderson handled the case for the
state.
The decision is probably the most im
portant that has ever been rendered in
the state.
The railroads refused to pay it and fi
fas were issued.
A test case was made by one of the
railroads petitioning Judge Clarke to
enjoin the comptroller general from ex
ecuting the fi fas.
This morning Judge Clarke denied the
injunction.
The case will doubtless be carried to
! the supreme court.
A few very pointed reasons why
Cheatham’s Tasteless Chill Tonic will
bo a great success. It is absolutely free
from all deleterious ingredients;as pleas
ant to the taste as honey; an absolute
and never-failing cure for all malarious
complaints. Guaranteed to cure. What
more could you ask? g
