c THE AMERICUS WEEKLY TJMES-RECOK DER: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 1891. Jt isn't done by others—that’s why the guarantee of Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Proscription should command attention. It’s a guarantee that means something. If the medicine doesn’t give satis faction, in every case for which it’s recommended, the money is prompt ly refunded. Remarkable terms— but it’s a remarkable medicine. All tho functional irregularities and weaknesses peculiar to womankind are cured by it. For leucorrhea, periodical pains, weak back, prolap sus and other displacements, bearing- down sensations, and all “ female complaints,” it’s an unfailing rem edy. It is a powerful, restora tive tonio and nervine, imparting strength and vigor to tho whole system. Try it, if vou’ro an ailing woman. If it doesn’t help you, you have your money back. As a regulator and promoter of functional action, at that critical period of change from girlhood to womanhood, “ Favorite Prescrip tion ” is a perfectly safe remedial agent, and can produce only good results. • This is the way with the Ball corset: if you want ease and shapeliness, you buy it—but you don’t keep it unless you like it. After two or three weeks’ wear, you can return it and have your money. Comfort isn’t all of it though. Soft Eyelets, and “bones” that can’t break or kink—Ball’s corsets have both of these. KITCHEN’S END NEAR. The Condemned Man Spends Moil of His Time Reading. Savannah, <ia.. September 11.—One week from to-day, between 10 o’clock a. m. and 4 o’clock p. in., wife-murderer Albert Morea Kitchen, will pay the penalty of bis crimes in the gallows room of the county jail. Kitchen lias become intensely religious since his condemnation, and feels satis fied that he will be saved. Rev. Alexan der Harris, (colored) visits him daily and prays with him. Kitchen puts in nearly all his time reading the Bible and a hymn book, and doesn’t care to talk at all .upon worldly subjects. His appetite is good, and his impending fate doesn’t seem to worry.him. Although it was ordered in the sen tence and has been announced several times since that Kitchen will be hanged privately, Sheriff Ronan is besieged by persons who want to see the hanging. The laws of Georgia relating to private executions are very strict, and no one will be allowed to witness Kitchen’s taking off except court officers and representatives of the press. It is no use for people to ask Sheriff Ronan, be cause they will only be met by a refusal. IN THE COUNTY JAIL. FINE SHOW GASES for catalogue. ^ERRY M’F'G CO.. Nashville. Tenh $500 Reward ! Just now there are only seven prison ers confined in the county jail, and there names and offenses are as follows: Andy Fletcher, who is charged with Arson, is an old boarder, a regular “star boarder,” because he has been in jail three years; then there are the two murders, John Jackson and Boly Dan iels. Jackson belongs to Wilcox county, but is here for safe keeping. Boly Daniels committed a murder in 1888, but was recently caught at Starke, Fla., and was landed here on August 19. The other fotir are Jim Holt, forgery Smith Barnett, wife beating; Webb Solomon and John Seay, minor offenses. Jailor Paco keeps the jail in the best order possible, and so far as can be learned the prisoners, all of whom are colored, are as contented as could be ex pected. for Infants and Children. 111 So.
