At present it includes about thirteen dis trict associations, of which there aie about sixty in Deorgia. Besides many visiting messengers from otlufr associa tions, several correspondents from the State Baptist Convention are here. Prominent among these are Gov. Xorthcn, Rev. Harvey Hatcher, of the American Baptist Publishing Company, Dr. J. J. Hyman, Rehobeth Association, Rev. J. G. Gibson, of Profit Association and Rev. A B. Campbell, of Americus. The introductory sermon was preached by Rev. J. B Jessup, of Cochran, who, taking for his text St. Paul’s remarks “Let us go and visit the churches,” im pressed upon his hearers the importance and value of the methods proposed by these general associations.
