a charming bevy of about sixty little
girls. Their music was in perfect bar
mony and Miss Lannle Adams, who had
them In charge, is to lie and was com,
plimented on the excellence they have
acquired.
After this came the regular program,

with songs.§ All were good and all re
ceived much applause from the large
audience.
Kvery feature was good, and is impos
sible to speak of them individually.
Kvetyjparticipator did well, and recieved
the plaudits of those present.
The essay of Miss Lizzie McLendon
probably received more praise than any,
and was a perfect gem. .She is the first
honorjpupil, and betides is the youngest
graduate the school lias ever had. She
is the daughter of Mr. I„ (>. McLendon,

ho found in this section,
Maj.|M. Speer, president of tire board
of education, delivered tho diplomas in
a neat and sensible talk that was appre
ciated by all. Ono reference be made
was to theLfnct that six out of tho
nine grnduntes were girls. Tills propor

cars at all. Mr. Foucbe will have one
car especially upholstered for private
parties. They will be let out by tbe hour
ami visitors can then be conveniently

ient for parties desiring to ride at night,

gaging the car.
