It seems to me that, unless you are
voting for a |>ersonal friend, it would he
impossible to make au intelligent choice
without hearing the candidates express
themselves. Xow I, for instance, am
not a personal friend of anyr of the tive
gentlemen who are in the race I have
met them, but liavo barely an acquaint
ance with a majority of those who seek
the democratic nomination.
This leaves mo in n position where
there are n<> issues, personal or other
wise, tnilrnw my attention from consid
ering the qualities of tho candidates,
and easting my vote for those whom I
think are best qualllleit for tho work
and wlF mnko tho best representatives
from .‘•u(o’er county.

tioned. I sec that other cities are ar-
conlidence and good will which have re
cently come to my knowledge, as well
as those which 1 have received from
them in the past.
A spirited contest for the senatorial
nomination at this time might not be
conducive to that thorough harmony in
the democratic ranks whicli is now so
desirable.
I believe that now, of all times, it is
the duty of every democrat to bold ills
personal ambition thoroughly subaer-
vient to the harmony and best interests
of bis party. Believing, as I do, that
the defeat of the democratic party, In
either the state or national election,
would be a great public calamity, my
highest ambition Is to contribute, in
whatever proper way I can, to ita suc
cess in the approaching elections.
Sincerely thanking my frienda who
hare desired to confer upon me an unso
licited honor, I am very respectfully,

Atlanta, Ga., July ‘.'th, 1 *'.Kl.
Deaii Sib:—Some time early in May I
concluded from what I heard of It, that
the Eiectropoise, such as you now have
on sale, might be of service to me. I
had been for many years a sufferer with
a diseased condition of the stomach ami
liver, and I wanted to see tlie effects of
the Eiectropoise upon those organs.
Accordingly I tried tlie 'Poise u|H»n a
high-power, but experienced no henefft
as far as my liver was concerned.
Finally I made a local application to
my liver, placing the plats, in contact
therewith for about four bouts. This
application produced considerable com
motion about tlie affected organs, hut
had the happy effect when it passed
away of leaving my liver to all appear
ances well. I am of the opiniou now
should I make a few more similar appli
cations, though less severe, that I shall
be greatly benefftted ii dot entirely
cmetI about my chest and stomach.
I applied tlio Eiectropoise to my
daughter, who liad been a great sufferer
for a number of springs with fever and
bowel troubles. In two days’ time she
was not only rid of tlie fever, hut of the
bowel difficulty as well.
In all cases of sickness we consider
the Eiectropoise almost indispensable.
Yours very truly,
J. T. Henderson-,
