con Dudley and Miss Susie Darby,

morning in Columbus, is an occasion

Americus as well as in that city.
The marriage rites will he colemn-
ized at First Baptist church by the
pastor, Bev. William H. Smith, and
witnessed by a large assemblage.

went over to Columbus yesterday.

Dudley aud J. W, Shiver mado up the
party from this city. Miss Genie
Glover will bo maid of honor, while
Mr. Will Dudley will be best man of

reached. As the train drew into the

E. Stevenson, Democratic candidate for
vice president, passed through this city
this morning from Wilmington, DeL,
and crossed the Delaware river to Cam-
den, N. J., where he began a 1J hour
stamping tour of South Now Jersey. He
made speeches at Camden, Bridgeton,
Millville and Woodbury.
