Kind Words of Condolence Received
From Every Section.
Indianapolis, March 14.—No sooner
was the news of the death of ex-Presi-
dent Harrison flashed to the world than
the messuges of inquiry which had been
pouring in for several days changed to
message** of evropatliy and condolence.
During* the first part of last night a
large number of such messages were re-
ceived from everv section of the coun
try! and at*an early hour this morning
there was a steady lino of messenger
bovs to the Harrison homo in North
Delaware street. The messages cam
from friends and admirers of the general
and from those associated with him in
Tmblic life at one time or another, lae
greater part of them were of snch an in;
timate personal nature that Mr*. Harr
son felt that their contents should not
be given to the public.
