Hurricane In Montana.
Butte, Mon., June 22. —A hurricane
struck at Lynch early Thursday ami
threw over several buildings. No one
was burr. Southwest of Lynch three
farmhouses were blown to pieces and
two persons were badly injured. Evert
Richards’ brick house was blown dowu
and a child was badly injured.

The “Pitt” (or “Regent,” ns it was
afterward called) is the most perfect
brilliant In existence, and Its history is

have been found by a slave in the Par-
teal mines in 1701, who to retain his
treasure cut a hole iu the calf of his
leg. In which lie concealed it. although

created surprise by returning a true bill
against Thomas Duggan, charged with
violating the dispensary law. Ail cases
thus far iiave been thrown out. Samuel
J. Pregnall, a business man, was sum
moned as a witness against Duggan. It
is stated that this is the first true bill
returned bv a Charleston grand jury for
violating the dispensary law in four
years.

New Orleans', Juno 22. — Walter
Selph, a young drummer, son of Colonel
Dudley Selph. state inspector of ntlo
practice and former rifle champion, was
killed tonight in a prizefight at Audu
bon park. He and a young man named
L. L Bailey had a quarrel at a military
ball aud agreed to tight it out with bare
fists. They bail no seconds, and pound
ed each other until Selph fell from o
blow which broke his neck.
