force is conceutratiuy in Persian
gulf. Three warships are already on
the spot and they will be augmented by
the gunboat Assaye. which has already
left fc’urracbee, and the flagship, the

third-class cruiser Pomoue will also sail
tor the Persian gnlf as soon as she has
coaled. It is believed that fresh trouble

Remains Placed In Vault at Uase of

ial of the remains of Abraham Lincoln
has practically been completed. Half a
dozen workmen were occupied all day

which the casket was placed Thursday
