county and 31 deputies, arrived in Au
burn this morning- The prison is cuiy
about 50 yards from the depot.

timony and allowing other questions to
be asked them when necessary to mark

sufficiently elucidated by them. Captain
MoCalla of the Marblehead, duriog the
Spanish war, oontinued his testimony
which had began yesterday.

Mr. Hanna made a brief explanation
of his use of the term “accused in yes*
terday’s proceedings as applied to Aa*

nation of one word which I understand

aurprise, that on examination of tho

in reference to the distinguished officer
who has asked for the court of inquiry.
