TAKE YOUR CHOICE
I nfed Quinine for 10 dnjr*.
I am free of fever but ieel
utterly wretched. I am
deuf as a post. Lost 10
pounds.
Just take your choice.
An attack of Fever at
this time of year, with
Quinine as the treat
ment, means a week or
ten days lost from Busi
ness. f
It means ten days of
unhappiness for you and
ten days of hard work
and anxiety for those
who love you. ^
This is putting it in its
very happiest asj>ect. It
might mean your death,
and it often means a
breakdown in general
health from which some
recuperate very slowly.
If you are a rich man
your time is worth much
your estate. If you
I used Johnson's Tonic 2\
hours. Took it every three
hours. Never felt better in
my life. Did not lose an
ounce in weight. Can eat
anything.
1™* ymir time is worth much more to your family. The rich
man might better afford to sutler a loss of *100.00 a dav, as b result from en
forced absence from business than the poor man can iuse tiie value of his labor.
.. “™7 ncl1 >'. r l>por-are stupid to lose 10 days when 24 to 48 hours is
the limit of time required to put them in good condition by Johnson’s Chill and
rover Tonic. •
I always feel sorry for the family that is wedded to the plan of subjecting
themselves to the Quinine treatment.
The process is slow. The result uncertain. The treatment disappointing.
Johnson s Tonic has two cardinal points that should immediately commend
it to every thinking man in this country. *
First of all, it is harmless. Absolutely harmless. Harmless under all cir
cumstances.
Second, it is quick; it acts at once. In 80 minutes after its administration,
it enters the blood and begins to undo the mischief caused by Malaria.
« wouderful record of 17 years of success. 999 cases out of everV
1000 are promptly cured, and the lOOiOth case can be easily cured by doubling
the dose and taking it a little oftener. -
Johnson’s Tonic is a wonderful medicine. It is not mere merchandise. It
is superb. No remedy in the whole domain of Materia M.edica is more positive
in its action and unfailing in its results.
It will cure. It will cure every time. It will cure every case of Fever. It
will cure any type of fever.
It is the one great medicine that seldom disappoints.
Don’t trifle with Fever. If allowed to run, it is like a house allowed to
burn—it will consume you. Use Johnson’s Tonic. Use nothing else.
Now, take your choice. Lie in bed for days, or maybe weeks, and poison
your digestion with Quinine, and arise finally with all the life and vim taken
out of you, or use Johnson’s Tonic and be restored at once to perfect health.
No loss of vital force. No loss of flesh. No waste of precious time. Take your
choice

Perfect Health
Is within the reach of almost every
woman. The weakness, nervousness
and irritability from which so many
women suffer is in general due to dis
ease of the delicate womanly organism.
When the disease is cured the general
health is re-established.
Doctor Pierce’s Favorite Prescription
makes weak women strong and sick
women well. It promotes regularity,
dries disagreeable and enfeebling drains,
heals inflammation and ulceration and
cures female weakness. When these
diseases are cured, headache, backache,
nervousness and weakness are cured also.
Fifty Men and Women Hurt on Trolley
In New York.
New York. March 11.—A Madison
avenuo car, on which were almost 100
persons, has met with a peculiar ac
cident. About 50 of the passengers
were Injured, none of them seriously.
A new building is in course of erec
tion at Forty-fourth street and Madi
son avenue, at which a portable hoist
ing engine is used, the engine being in
the street. It stood close to the track.
The motorman stopped the car as
he approached and the engineer told
him to wait until he could move the
machine. The car conductor thought
there was room to pass and ordered
the motorman to proceed. This he
did and the car shaved off a valve
which extended from the boiler.
The suddenly released steam broke
the windows on the side of the car
next to the engine and covered the
passengers, scalding them on hands
pnd faces. Others were bruised by
being crushed and thrown to the
ground during the ensuing nanlc.
