The reeent rains, followed by several weeks of warm weather, have matured tbe top crop to considerable extent and there la still something doing on tbo old plantation. And a big grain crop is being pat in where ootton picking is finished. It is said that more oats, wheat and rye are being planted this fall than in sev eral seaeons past.
